YANA

YANA is an independent art magazine compiling curated artworks and essays created by jugglers. A thick and heavy 160pp publication printed on beautiful papers, giving juggling a new platform to exist and be seen. Photographs, poems, collages, crafts, and words inviting us to look at this art form from an intimate perspective rather than performative.

Created in 2020 by me & Misaki Fukuda.

La Réconciliation

The performer tries to dance the world. The photographer photographs the world.
In La Réconciliation, the juggler Florence Schroeder attempts the absurd and heroic act of awakening and consoling the photographs of Bertrand Depoortère through juggling.
As for the photographer, he attempts to observe the space attentively.
By extension, this utopian act tells a story that goes beyond the two authors, that of the possibility of consoling the world through art. An act that is objectively impossible but which finds its strength in the attempt.

Created by Bertrand Depoortère and Johan Swartvagher, Collectif Martine à la plage.

Rollercoaster

Rollercoaster is a one-hour solo show by Wes Peden that uses ultra-modern, pop-punk juggling to talk about finding the balance between freedom and security.

I was an outside eye during the creation and now operate the show on tour.
